To help students learn and apply the topics and principles covered in class, they will be required toconduct a face-to-face interview (preferably with someone in the Phoenix metropolitan area) who isactively involved in the strategic decision making process. This could be a small business owner, acorporate executive, a manager, etc. but should NOT simply be an employee at a store. A one (1) pagepaper (10-12 point font, double-spaced, one-inch margins) that includes who was interviewed and whathis/her strategic activity is, when the interview was conducted, a sample of what questions were asked(with the responses), and what insights were gained – related specifically to a concept or conceptscovered during the course – will be required to be submitted as a PDF in Blackboard by the beginning ofclass on April 17th, 2018. Late submissions (including those emailed to the professor) will be deductedtwo (2) points initially and an additional two points will be deducted for each day it is late. See Appendix2 below for examples of questions to ask and a format to follow. Pay special attention to the one-pagelength requirement as material that goes beyond the first page will not be graded, which will help studentslearn to write clearly and briefly to get to the main points.
