Identify and describe interventions from the trauma literature useful in all three stages of the trauma treatment and recovery process. Include interventions suggested by Judith Herman in her seminal book Trauma and Recovery. The three phases of trauma therapy are stabilization, working through the trauma, and reconnection.
Summarize and discuss how the intervention is applied.
You may also make connections with current events and your own professional experiences, but be sure to utilize some primary sources.
