2. Which of the lectures or class experiences about American society was the most insightful for you? Are there any new social or political issues that previously you paid little attention to but now are more likely to read about or talk over with friends and family? 3. What do you think is the greatest challenge American society faces in the next decade? What changes and adjustments will Americans have to make to guarantee that “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” is still alive and well in the United States.

**Make sure as you develop your answers to specifically draw upon and incorporate readings, visual elements and concepts that we explored throughout the quarter. A reflection is more than an “opinion” essay. It should show how you have absorbed and incorporated course materials in a way that is meaningful for you.
