For this project, you need to create a poster promoting CT 102: Composite Technology at EvCC.
*Note – This is a real-life project requested by the composite instructor at EvCC’s AMTEC. Posters will be shared with the composite instructor. Please be assured that student names will NOT be shared. If the composite instructor would like to use your poster to promote his class on EvCC’s campus for Fall Quarter 2017, I will email you directly for permission to use your poster on campus. There is NO financial compensation if your poster is selected, but you can include this experience as an achievement on your resume and in your academic portfolio.
Assignment Purpose:
The purpose for this assignment is to learn how to put the theory of design into practice. This is also an exercise in creating a document for a customer.
Assignment Instructions:
For this assignment, you need to create a poster for CT 102: Composite Technology. This course is offered at EvCC through AMTEC. Course descriptions can be found in the EvCC class schedule (check previous class schedules) and the EvCC catalog. The purpose of the poster is to promote enrollment for Fall Quarter 2017.
Your flyer should have both visual and written elements. The audience for this project is the general student body at EvCC. Your flyer should include general information about the course (description, days, times, etc.).
For Fall Quarter 2017, CT 102 meets 8:00 a.m. – 1:35 p.m. Monday – Thursday. (Again, detailed information can be found in the EvCC schedule and catalog.)
Creative Freedom:
Students have creative freedom with the design and content of this project. (As a reminder, the content of the flyer doesn’t need to be extensive, but you do need to include information that would aid the reader in understanding the course and meeting days/ times.) Flyers should be one-page in length.
Any computer program can be used for this assignment, but I will only accept PDF files. Please convert your final document into a PDF file for submission. No other file types will be accepted.
