in a 3 page paper, choose one of the following topics, find one sociological peer-reviewed article pertaining to the topic to discuss the construction of the problem, find three additional sociological academic resources (such as our text and additional peer-reviewed articles) to evaluate the topic, and complete a critical analysis of the identified social problem within the article.

Use the following headings/parts within your paper to ensure all parts of the assignment are completed:

Part A: Introduction
Identify your chosen article, and provide a brief but clear discussion of how the article topic frames a social problem, given a social construction understanding of social problems. (1-2 paragraphs).

Part B: Evidence
Utilize at least three different academic sources(an academic journal or academic book such as a textbook) and discuss alternative views of the identified social problem. (3-5 paragraphs)

Part C: Critical Evaluation
Critically evaluate, given the research demonstrated in Part B, the original chosen article, with a conclusion as to the accuracy of the article. (3-5 paragraphs). This evaluation should demonstrate the following:

1. Evaluation of accuracy of the information.
2. Distinguishes fact from opinion.
3. Demonstrates alternative arguments and understandings.

In total, you will be using 4 academic sources for your paper:

One for the chosen topic, Part A.

Three for the evaluation, Part B
