Write a paper that reflects on this in the following way: (i) Choose a particular ethical issue that you think has been primarily or exclusively approached through one of the two modes (whether caring or justice) and explain why and how. (ii) Then, make an argument for how the problem would be treated differently if the other mode was emphasized. Be sure to have a thesis that ties together your entire paper.

Be careful about being overly broad. Philosophical thought improves if we are able to be as precise and specific as possible.
