In other words, the focus of this essay is action-based. Reflect on the social change strategies presented in class at the beginning of the semester, e.g. public hearings, street theater, etc. Propose using one of these or another possible strategy focused on including women in STEAMM. Make reference to the handouts from the beginning of the semester, “Checklist for Tactics” and “Using the Strategy Chart to Plan a Tactic”, for consideration as one example of manyto organize your ideas for this essay. What strategy are you proposing for including more women in STEAMM and how is the information in your scholarly sources informing you about this strategy related to including more women in STEAMM? How have Dr. Sheila McNamee (2010), in her article Research as Social Construction, and Dr. Kenneth Gergen (2009) in our textbook, Relational being: Beyond self and community, informed you on joint action for carrying out your proposed strategy? What steps are needed to accomplish your proposed strategy through joint action? Specifically, how can we work together through joint action? In addition, what are the possible consequences of using this strategy for including more women in STEAMM?With regard for your scholarly sources, use some or all of the scholarly sources on which you reported in your Annotated Bibliography. A minimum of five (5) scholarly sources is required for this essay.Furthermore, as with Essay #1, keep in mind that Discourse has many possibilities. These possibilities

may be used in a number of different manners including in the introduction (hook for example), body of the essay and/or your conclusion. Be creative.
