Assessment of the family and thechild's environment also provides important contextual information. Research developmentally appropriate assessments used to evaluate young children.Describethe developmentally appropriate process you would use, along withdirections, and how you would use the assessment results to design andevaluate your teaching effectiveness. Assignment 2:

Thepurpose of this assignment is to apply what’s learned in this chapter.Specifically how Behavior and Temperament play a role in theirdevelopment.

For this assignment, you will need to complete the following:

1. Observe a child in an educational setting using Table 3.1.
2. Recordwhat you observe in each category. Be specific in your observationswith regard to age of the child, academic atmosphere etc.
3. Writea summary and include a copy of your observational notes from the tableyou used. Be specific in your essay. Include stimuli, lack thereof,classroom, time of day, etc. Use the table as a template for yourobservation, but elaborate on your findings and conclusions.
4. Back up your claims and observations with references to your readings in this course and any outside resources.
