Prompt: The objective of this paper is to investigate the association of exposure to toxic

substances and diseases. Choose interesting components from each category from below. At least

one component should be chosen from each group and those three should be related. For

example, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), from toxic substances – in utero exposure

from exposure pathway – "asthma" from diseases.; from diseases. Find strong five to seven scientific evidence

from the peer reviewed journal articles that are studied on the subject and support your main

theme.

The paper should have a minimum of 2200 words. Word count

only from introduction to conclusion excluding a list of references and title page for word limit.

References must be cited in EHP format.

Here are the three categories and pool of components:

1. Toxic Substances:

 Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH’s)

 Endocrine Disrupter (Bisphenol A, Bisphenol S, PFOA)

2. Exposure Pathway/ Window of exposure at lifetime:

 In utero exposure (exposure during pregnancy)

 Childhood exposure (infant, toddler, teenagers, adolescent)

 Dietary Exposure (ingestion of foods, drinks)

3. Diseases

 Asthma

 Birth Defects

 Diabetes

 Obesity, high blood pressure.
