Task 2: Community Outbreak
Introduction:
With the increased mobility of human populations, diseases can quicklyspread around the world. In addition, changes in vaccination practiceshave revealed an increase in communicable diseases that were oncethought to be under control. These global health issues present newproblems for community health officials.
In the Bentonville simulation, you learned how an influenza virusimpacted the community. You will provide a PDF report of your completedactivities.
In this task, you will also analyze an outbreak of a specific globalcommunicable disease that occurred in the last 50 years that crossedinternational borders (e.g., the measles outbreak that moved from thePhilippines to the United States).
Requirements:
Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combinedtotal of 30% of the submission and no more than a 10% match to any oneindividual source can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased fromsources, even if cited correctly. Use the Turnitin Originality Reportavailable in Taskstream as a guide for this measure of originality.
You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submissionbecause it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate yourwork. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubricaspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevantportions of the course.
