3. The earnings of FGH corporation have been lower than expected and, probably as a result, its share price has fallen from $40 to under $25. NOP corporation has offered $32 a share to buy FGH. Although experiencing some difficult times, FGH's board of directors is not convinced it should take NOP's offer, because it has the correct combination of products and strategy for moving forward as planned. Does the FGH board of directors have to accept NOP's offer?
