Discuss 2 ways that you can help to control what information is readily available about you to anyone, `including employers on the internet.
There are several ways to control how much your information circulates on the internet. One of them is to limit the number of subscriptions you sign up for try to go for the ones that are trustworthy. It’s difficult to decipher which ones are legit but I would look at reviews or investigate the company before proving information.

Another way to control how much of your information is readily available to the public is to make sure that if you purchase items online to make sure that the website is secure. To better identify that it’s secure is to look for “Https” before each website or use a prepaid card.

In the world we live in today, social media is a huge role in our lives. It is a second face for when someone wants to see or communicate with you. Anything that you post to social media can be seen by anyone. Once you post something it is there, in some cases, forever. If you want to control what information is readily available to others, there are multiple ways that you can do so.

The first thing is to be aware. You have to know what accounts you are on and monitor who you want people to see. It is safe to say not to post any inappropriate photos or statuses. People are caught in embarrassing situations with their bosses all the time and sometimes lose their careers due to a social media post. The second thing that you can do is know who you have on your accounts and what they are capable of. If you have friends who don't take social media seriously you should not have them added. The truth is some people do not have boundaries and will post things of you that you wouldn't want your boss and family to see. The best thing to do is act like your boss is in the room with you watching you post. Put things online that have a positive impact on your image and avoid any trouble down the road.

Hello Class,

E-health has to do with medical informatics the delivery of clinical information and different care and services. Electronic health information can tremendously impact the quality of data. Due to technological developments, e-health has become a global topic due to its extensive use in the medical field. The World Health Organization defines e-health the cost-effective and secure use of information and communications technologies in support of health and health-related fields, including health-care services, health surveillance, health literature, and health education, knowledge and research" [WHO]. Data integrity has been a major issue when it comes to e-health. If the data is incorrect it can cause major health risks for patients, providers, resulting in fraud, waste, and incomplete care. When it comes to e-health, errors, inaccuracies, loss, and or destruction of data can occur. It is very important to follow the correct procedure when inputting data or transferring data electronically to prevent compromising data integrity.

Electronic health delivery systems are important because it helps provide higher quality of care and safer care for patients. Some other important points with having electronic delivery systems are providing accurate and complete information about patients, providers can more effectively diagnosis patients, helps reduce medical errors, and can securely share electronic information with other clinicians. It helps with accurate and complete documentation for billing and coding, and helps with reducing cost and duplication of testing. Helps with meeting all the requirements by CMS, Meaningful Use, etc. We can’t force someone to document something required on paper, but we can do so electronically making it a required field.

Electronic delivery systems defiantly has it’s pros, it also comes with cons, especially when an EHR is designed and implemented poorly. It can cause errors that put the information entered at risk which can lead to major errors and endanger patient safety. Additionally, can lead to big lead to big legal issues.
