3. I was able to get the correct solutions by first reading the question carefully. I then picked out key words in the question such as “retrospective” and “prospective”. I knew these terms were important as they were bolded in the chapter. I then referred to my flashcards I made after reading the chapter. Finally, I read all choices available until I found the one that was most similar to the definition I wrote down for myself.

4. This problem was fairly easy as it made me recall specific terms from the chapter. I was able to recall a general idea of each definition but I did recheck my flashcards in order to be sure.

POST 2:

2. The solution was obviously false.

3. The main reason I came to this conclusion is that there are so many sampling methods, each with there own pros and cons depending on the type of study being done, so there's no way this one would be preferred. Especially when I study could be directed to a certain sample.

4. I studied the types of sampling through word association; sometimes a single letter in the middle of the work is enough for me to make the connection or how convenience sampling means exactly what I would assume it does. This particular problem wasn't difficult to solve but the others that were fill in the blank were a little harder because I actually had to know the types through and through.
