For this Assignment, research an Emergency Management incident, such as a Tornado, Hurricane, flood incident etc., a Haz-mat incident, and a mass casualty incident, such as a mass shooting, large scale multiple vehicle accident or similar incident.

Identify at least four types of issues/challenges present at situations like these. What is the role of the local first responders at these types of incidents? Should these incidents be primarily handled at a local level or combined local, state, and federal level?

Describe the type of ICS and/or NIMS requirements needed at these types of incidents. Discuss the Command system break down (i.e. groups, sectors, division, branches, etc.) and the resources needed at these types of incidents.

You should also explain how and why the length of time devoted to these incidents is different in each type of incident.

Include a link to reference the incident that you choose.

Create a minimum of a 10 PowerPoint presentation that addresses the assignment questions.

In addition to fulfilling the specifics of the Assignment, you should format your presentation in accordance with the following guidelines:

• Include at least two sources to support each of the trends in your presentation.
• Use one basic slide design and layout.
• Limit slides to between six and eight lines of content.
• Use bullets for your main points.
• Use APA citations on appropriate slides.

Note: This Assignment will require outside research. Use at least two credible sources beyond the text material and assigned Reading. Also, discuss how you evaluated the credibility of the resources used. You may consult the Online Library, the Internet, the textbook, other course material, and any other outside resources in supporting your task, using proper citations in APA style.
