Using Backup and Recovery Tools and Discovering Windows Apps:

• Start PowerPoint 2016, create a Blank Presentation, and change the layout to Blank.
• Save the presentation as Lastname_Firstname_2_Tools_Apps in a new folder named Chapter 2 on a USB drive. Note: After each use of PowerPoint, you will save and minimize its window.
• Click Backup and if Automatically back up my files is displayed, skip the next step.
• Add the USB drive as a Backup for File History. Close and reopen the Backup window.
• Display PowerPoint and use the Screenshot command to create a Screen Clipping of the Settings window showing Automatically back up my files is On, and close the window.
• Use File Explorer to display the USB drive. Display PowerPoint, add a new Blank slide, capture a Screenshot of the File Explorer window showing the FileHistory folder, and close File Explorer.
• Using Settings, open Update & security and click Backup, and More options.
• Display the PowerPoint window, and add a new Blank slide.
• Use PowerPoint’s Screenshot command to create a Screen Clipping of the Settings window and close the window.
• Display the Microsoft Solitaire Collection and select Pyramid.
• Add a Blank slide, use PowerPoint’s Screenshot command to create a Screen Clipping of the Microsoft Solitaire Collection window, and close the window.
• Open the Movies & TV app and click TV show gallery.
• Add a Blank slide, use PowerPoint’s Screenshot command to create a Screen Clipping of the Movies & TV window showing TV, and close the window.
• Open the Weather app and, if necessary, maximize the window. If necessary, fill out information to personalize the weather content and start the app.
• Click Expand and select Maps.
• Add a Blank slide, use PowerPoint’s Screenshot command to create a Screen Clipping of the Weather window showing the map, and close the window.
• Open the Contact Support app and click Get Started.
• Add a Blank slide, use PowerPoint’s Screenshot command to create a Screen Clipping of the Contact Support window, and close the window.
• On the Start menu, click the Mail app tile, click Get started, and click Add account.
• Add a Blank slide, use PowerPoint’s Screenshot command to create a Screen Clipping of the Add an account dialog box, and close the dialog box and window.
• Close PowerPoint and submit the file.
