During this Assignment, you will complete five steps that cover customizable features, the registry, device manager, and Windows Updates. Use your VM for all related screenshots. In your APA formatted paper answer the questions below. Make sure to cite your sources.

1. List and describe five different Windows 10 features that can be customized or personalized. Explain what a user would want to customize in the selected features in Windows 10. Why would a user want to do this? Include screen captures of your selections. Label each screen shot.
2. Open the registry of your VM system and take a screenshot. Define registry. List and describe the main keys of the registry. What advice would you give to a user about editing the registry?
3. You are a technician in a computer store that sells to home users. Many users have returned to the store complaining their computer is slow or crashes frequently. What features can you configure in Windows 10 to increase the customer satisfaction?
4. Go to device manager and expand network adapters. Double-click on a device, click on Driver Details, and take a screenshot of the Driver File Details window. Click OK and OK, and close Device Manager. Explain why you would like to execute this operation and how often.
5. Check for Windows Update. Click on “Check for updates” and take a screenshot. Click on “Advanced Options,” and take a screenshot. Why is it important to keep windows up to date? Should this be set to automatically update? Why or why not?
6. Use IP utilities to view and manage networking configurations: IPConfig, ping, hostname, tracert, and pathping. Show a screen capture of each. Describe three steps you would take to troubleshoot a network connection failure.
