A Guide to Your Virtual Presentation (Soc 335)
An online virtual presentation will be held on Week 15. All students are required to participate. It counts up to 8 points. Here is a guide to prepare and present your work online.
- Virtual presentation provides a chance for you to present your Term Project of “Experiencing Globalization” in the virtual class. It is a chance to learn each other and exchange ideas among students to make your project better;
- What you need to present is an PPT (or PDF) format of your term project by uploading your file into “Virtual Presentations and Discussions” in Week 15th by the due date (see samples in DocSharing);
- Watching other students’ presentations, discuss with other students, and provide your feedback on presentations between Apr. 26th and Apr. 29th.
Evaluation of your presentation will be based on the following criteria:
Content (30% points) ________
- Clear explanations of main points.
- Relevant terms explained clearly and simply.
Organization (30% points) ________
- Presentation logically structured.
- Presentation neither too long nor too short.
Delivery (30% points) ________
- Appropriate expressions.
- Decent format, or any type of visual aids and/or multimedia.
Overall exceptional excellence (10% points) ________
