LITERATURE REVIEW

The literature review section discusses current research that is relevant to the project. There is always research relevant to all Industrial engineering topics that have been conducted and/or are currently being conducted. Thus, there must be a minimum of five to six peer-reviewed refereed journal articles to be included for review within the literature review section and a minimum of five to six other references/resources (e.g., web articles, magazine articles, books, etc.) to be summarized within the literature review section as well as utilized within the project report. In general, each reference should contain a 2-3 paragraph summary explaining the research and its significance as relevant to the senior design report. Proper APA formatted in-text citations must be utilized (Author, year) throughout this section as well as throughout the entire report.
