Chapter 7 of your textbookexplains what a Quantitative study is, its uses, and quantitative designs. Thecritique for the final project is due Monday of Week 6 at 11:55 pm centralstandard time. Review page 578 of your textbook to help you understandhow to critique a research study.
Purpose
The purpose of doing an in-depthanalysis of a Quantitative experimental or quasi-experimental designedresearch article is to help you put into practice the content of thecourse and to illustrate why the hierarchy of evidence is focused on systematicreviews. Further, your having done such a review gives you insight into thesort of thinking and questioning that arises when you are reading researcharticles. It may also stimulate the critical thinking that is required of thenursing scholar.
This will be your analysis and youare required to use critical thinking in analyzing your selected article.If you agree or disagree with the author, support your reasoning. If you findany component of the study lacking or in need of improvement, support yourposition. Support your position with scholarly resources.
Your paper is to be5 – 10 pages not counting the title page and the reference page. Must use at least four references (journal articles within the last five years)
