Objective 1 narrative :
Lighthouse Communications plans to establish overall awareness of WKMS by 40% this upcoming year. When most people think of social media, they think of the young population. This is true, however, social media is used to create awareness for a wide range of ages. Nearly 75% of Facebook users are in the age range of 18-54. Therefore, we will restructure our email recipient list to those around that age. We will also do this because of the parallel with social media and email usage. We will use a karaoke rebate night and 5k run event to reach out to all ages, including those above 54. This will show our involvement and our passion for serving the community.
Lastly, Press release and consistent branding will also serve as a marketing tactic for all age ranges. All of these will increase the depth of relationships with our current and beginning listeners.
