Project Description:

The purpose of this project is to build a student's exposure, familiarity, and aptitude in identifying an international country for expansion for introducing a product/service for a market entry. The project will provide you a hands-on opportunity to conduct market and country research specific to your product/service for your marketing plan by applying all the important concepts and principles learned in this course. For this project, you will identify a product (Nordstrom) and choose a country (South Africa) for an initial international market entry. You will assess the feasibility of your decision based on the competitive market conditions, market potential for your product, and the PEST (Political/legal/environmental, Economic, Social, and Technology/Infrastructure) analysis of the chosen country.
