- Read Chapter 8 and the Case Study 8-1, "Discharged for Facebook Comments," at the end of the chapter.
- Write a paper answering the questions listed at the end of the case study.
- In addition to the case study questions, include the following in your case write-up:
- A brief summary of each outside reference and how it relates to the topic.
- Define what an acceptable use policy is.
- What are the most common elements in an acceptable use policy? Include an example of an acceptable use policy as an appendix.
- As part of the body of the paper summarize how the policy is enforced and the consequences of violating the policy.
- Your case study write-up should be 600-800 words and include a title page and reference page. The paper must use APA 6th edition formatting.
- You must use, at a minimum, your textbook and two references fromprofessional and/or peer reviewed journals for a total of threereferences. Note that non-professional/non-peer reviewed references willnot count toward the reference requirement.
