For this assignment, you will be required to write a 750 to 1,000-word case study that analyzes how globalization and technology have impacted work and workplace relationships.

First, you must identify an industry (banking, manufacturing, retail, information technology, communications, agriculture, customer service, etc.) to use for the case study. Perform research on the sector, including major corporations within it, typical workers, and how work and workers within it have been impacted by globalization, immigration, and technology in the last thirty years. Explain how these changes have influenced the personal relationships and work tasks within their organization. Conclude with an appraisal of whether the changes have been a benefit or harm to the lives and livelihoods of the workers.

The assignment should contain the following sections:

  • Identify the industry that you've selected for the assignment and why you selected it. Describe the basic operations of the industry, its place in society, its major corporations, and types of work performed by employees within the industry.
• Globalization and Immigration
  • Explain how globalization and immigration have impacted the workers within the industry and the relationships that they have with one another.

  • Explain how technology has impacted the workers within the industry and the relationships that they have with one another.

You may refer to the course material for supporting evidence, but you must also use at least three credible, outside sources and cite them using APA format.
