Christian stewardship is fulfilling a responsibility over God’s resources. Everything we see, have, or accomplish all belongs to God. We must manage those things that belong to God until our time on earth is done. God relies on us to take care of his belongings through his guidance and we must be faithful in honoring his will. The Holy Bible states “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness therof; the world, and they that dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1, King James Version).

Healthcare administrators have a duty to seek guidance from God when making decisions regarding people’s lives and well-being instead of relying on a system that is flawed. While the healthcare system is fragmented, administrators who practice prayer, love and compassion should be more vocal on the importance of equality of healthcare among all Americans. Everyone must be reminded that our actions come with consequences and God sees and hears our thoughts. The rise of healthcare cost and harsher standards have hit the healthcare profession now focusing on accepting the principle of market justice. Administrators must revisit its goals and strive to meet the community needs focusing on equal access to healthcare rather than ability to pay. Regardless of the barriers today, we must remember the original goal and purpose of serving Christ and his will. The Holy Bible states “His Lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord” (Matthew 25:23, King James Version).
