place within the Groups area. Your individual as well as group contributions must be visible to the Instructor. To this end, you will often create a portion of the project and submit your initial draft to the Instructor. You will then copy and paste your work into the appropriate Group Discussion area.
Each group will evaluate the current state of a business,including expected scope of work and project success based on theinformation presented in the “Information System Project Case Study”document.
To prepare for creating a Project Charter, complete the following:
- Review the “Guidelines for Successful Student Project Groups or Teams” document in this week’s Learning Resources.
- Review the “Information System Project Case Study” document located in this week’s Learning Resources.
- Review the “Project Charter Template” document in this week’s Learning Resources. To complete this initial step in creating a Project Charter, individually write a 1- to 2-page paper summarizing the following:
- Project Charter purpose
- Project executive summary
- Project overview
- Project deliverables and timeline. The timeline mustinclude a day-by-day description of each project deliverable from allweekly Discussions, individual Assignments, and Group ProjectAssignments.
- Two weeks (from weeks 2–5) in priority order that you would like to assume the role of Group Facilitator (group leader) I will assume the role of Group Facilitator week 4
