I can understand why change in that area would negatively impact you; here, you have someone coming into an organization and changing how things work within the department. In all honesty, when I would apply for jobs that I was searching for on Indeed, I found it easier to do the application on Indeed than it would be on the actual website. My thinking behind this was, if I would to apply on Indeed, and the employer like my profile from there, then the manager would contact me about what they saw on the recruiting cite; and tell me personally to go to the website and apply for the job. That would seem more beneficial and show my worth than just putting my name in with a pool of candidates who had already applied on the organization’s site. I also thought that quickly applying on Indeed was easier than going to the website because some people are always on the go and do not have the time it takes to fill out an application. Ultimately, I’m glad that you all were able to eventually get on a good page and fix the issue you were having because it shows that you both were able to communicate to make the organization better in order to fit the needs of the client.
