WRITING ASSIGNMENT:

1) The Millennials/Generation Y generation seem to be causing quiet a stir in both the workplace and in the consumer space. They are changing the way many businesses are delivery their product/service. Much of the research on this generation is negative regarding work ethics and being able to get along in the workplace. Please list and rank 10 traits that the millennials deem as important to them in the work place. Feel free to speak to friends/familiy members in this age group to assist in your response.

2) In the sports, hospitality, and tourism industry, many changes are being made to target this consumer group; especially in design and marketing of a service/product. Do some research and find some (at least 2 examples) specific examples in this industry. For instance, Marriott in London just recently added "Roofnic" dining/togo example to add a roof top experience/picnic option while staying in a metropolitan area. Make sure to cite your sources.

3) Speculate 2-5 years ahead in this industry, what changes do you foresee happening when these millennials begin having a spending power of $1.4 trillion per year; answer this question from a millennial consumer viewpoint as well as a millennial employee viewpoint. Feel free to speak to friends/familiy members in this age group to assist in your response.
