Your synthesis assignment this week will focus on your own educational experiences and the extent to which they mirror the ideas discussed this week. This assignment is your first formal written essay.

Consider what aspects of your education parallel some of the ideas we have been discussing? So for example, perhaps you attended a charter school or a private school, but have never before thought about this as connected with neoliberal education policies. Perhaps at your school you had exchange students or participated in a trip to another country. In short, what key experiences from your life overlap with what we've identified as the implications of living in a global world for education? Draw on (at least 3) readings from the course to support your argument.
