This plan willinclude a high-level overview of data center management, cloudcomputing, business continuity, and storage management and monitoring.Each week as a Learning Team you will discuss each section of theInformation Storage and Management Plan template.

Week Two

Discuss the purpose and requirements of the overall project.

Identify key elements of adata center environment and recommend the key elements that yourorganization should implement in its data centers. Discuss data centerinfrastructure, core elements of databases, servers and operatingsystems, network and storage arrays.

Discuss the advantages ofeach key element and provide justification and support to encourage theCIO to implement the key elements of a data center that you recommend.

Based on your Week Two Learning Team Collaborative discussion, completeSection 1, Introduction, and Appendix A of the Information Storage andManagement Plan. Section 1 includes subsections 1.1 Executive Overviewand 1.2 Objectives. Define any technical terms used in Appendix A.Section 1 should be no more than 260 words in length.

Start working on Section 2 of the Information Storage and Management Plan.

Complete subsections 2.1Data Center Infrastructure, 2.2 Managing Storage Infrastructure, and 2.3RAID. Sections 2.2 and 2.3 should be no more than 260 words in length.
