Public Assembly Fire

• Research a public assembly fire. Include link to your incident in reference page
• Public Assembly. Definition. Buildings in which people gather for social or recreational activities, whether in private or non-private meeting halls.

Describe:

• Describe at least four fire control principles and an incident command system that were applied to the incidents
• What fire control principles would you have applied this type of fire including hose line selection, resources needed (deployment of personnel and equipment, the incident command system, and strategy and tactics.)

Preplan:

• List 5-6 items that should be included in the type of building you chose
• For example, any hazardous areas in the structure should be noted.

Fire Control Principles:

• mode of operation, size-up, incident command system (ICS), incident action plan (IAP), crew assignments, strategy, tactics, size attack lines, fire attack (location, type, etc.), ventilation
• Include at least 2 sources to support each of the trends in your presentation
• Use one basic slide design and layout
• Use charts and graphs as needed
• Limit slides to between six and eight lines of content
• Use bullets for your main points
• No speaker notes required
• Use apa citations on appropriate slides
• Include title & reference slide (minimum of 2 references)
