• Discuss appropriate resources to assist the human services professional in maintaining self-care.
• Discuss the various approaches to cognitively manage stress and burnout in the human service field.
• Discuss what factors may contribute to the stress of the professional.
• Discuss approaches to manage stress including cognitive approaches, A-B-C theory and how to identify and self- defeating thinking to assist you in the human service practice.
