Using the hypothetical medical practice detailed for the final project (Attached here as the Final Project Use Case), develop an audit program to be used for a standard baseline audit. The baseline audit assumes you do not have any prior historical data on the level of compliance in this practice and need to review a random sample of all services provided and for which bills were sent to the carrier. Use the UNIT 1 Resources and Templates posted under Unit 1 (Learning Activities Tab) as well.

Using the audit templates provided in Unit 1, customize for your own purposes or develop new templates of your choosing. These templates will be provided to a team of auditor/coders who will use them in the field work to document findings.

2. How you will determine a sample size and sampling methodology

3. Who will pull the cases and how the field work is to be completed

Outline of the resulting report (you do not need to write a report – an outline of the sections is what is required) – create the outline of what the report would look like – you don't have to put any data in. Think of it as a template that you would use over and over as you reported the results of your audits to your organization.

5. Sample entrance and follow up letters. (I am looking for 1 – 2 letters. For sure include an entrance and exit letter – you can find good examples through an Internet search)

6. You don't write an essay – you actually create a policy and procedure that includes information on determining sample size and methodology.
