You hear news reports about mass shootings and other criminal matters, and the first thing blamed is a mental illness. That type of news coverage scares people who might need to seek help. We want to educate the public that mental health resources exist in Murray and Calloway County.”
Also from James: “We chose the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Calloway County to receive funds because people often don’t think to donate to mental health resources.”
