Sothe agency I chose was the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) andthe Department of Transportation. (DOT). We are going to be talkingabout Airworthiness Directive 14 CFR Part 39 [Docket No. FAA-2018-0299;Product Identifier 2018-NM-060-AD; Amendment 39-19256; AD 2018-08-03]RIN 2120-AA64 in regards to the Airworthiness Directives, on the BoeingCompany Airplanes. And that they are adopting a new airworthinessdirective (AD) for The Boeing company model airplanes powered byRolls-Royce engines. Now, this means that the AD is requiring that theflight manual is updated to reflect a limit extended operating time onselect engines. This went in to effect on April 17, 2018.

So,in short, the FAA and DOT are required Boeing to limit or -cutback thehours of use on the engines on certain plains for safety concerns. As towhere the engine could have a significant failure causing serious,injury and or death to people riding the plain. I do happen to agreewith the FAA the plain we ride in today is out dated. I feel thatairlines don’t care and they run their fleet of plains into the groundall in the name of making money while the whole time claiming to besafe. I know more people die in car accidents each year rather thanplane crashes. But my safety is a concern I feel the Airlines need totake into perspective. So yes the FAA can’t be hard enough on theAirlines or the manufactures of the engines that power these plains.
